High/Scope Education Model is an approach that embraces the developmental philosophy that contemporary education requires and takes into consideration the socio-cognitive needs a child has covering a period starting from preschool till grade 3. In our education program each activity offers opportunities for children to acquire aimed skills by providing a rich environment. Teachers provide children with variety of materials and appropriate physical condition in High/Scope education model. Individually they are in interaction with the kids as a monitor-participant.

Having high number of teachers gives us the opportunity to have quality and variety of materials, effective field trips, social service and enviromental responsibility awareness in early ages, end of the year shows linked to academic projects and an integrated value education program making our preschool education even stronger.

Creating Sense of Confidence in Our Children

Physical environment of our school is designed and equipped in a way that makes learning and creativity effective. Social environment is blended with positive discipline models. In that way, children are able to develop sense of confidence through consistent daily routines and positive adult-child interaction. Sense of confidence that they develop helps them discover their way of learning, be motivated and transform learning into experiences.

Taking Responsibility and Developing Self-Confidence

“Plan-Do-Review” is a crucial part of daily plan and free play time of the children. Short and long group time activities help develop self-confidence, problem-solving, time management and responsibility taking abilities of the children.

Early Encounter with Foreign Languages

Our students receive preschool level English language education through effective learning methods and games in a natural way. Our students have four English lesson hours each day having 160 minutes English time weekly.

Methods of Testing & Assessment and Individual Support

Individual development of our preschool students are evaluated in detail. Support programs are planned for each student to move beyond their present level. Using different types of testing and assessment methods such as individual and group observation notes, anecdotal records, skills observation checklists, portfolios, progress reports makes a holistic approach applicable. Outcome of the process returns to the students as individual support.

Guidance and Psychological Counseling

Alongside a strong guidance and counseling which serves preschool kids efficiently, our guidance and counseling department contributes to children’s development substantially by maintaining a quality relationship between school and parents through different channels.

Communication with School Administration

Our school attaches great importance to communication with our parents. School staff and administrators aim to be open to parents’ questions, problems and suggestions. An idea or suggestion put forward by our parents is handled with the attention and with the guidance of corporate principles, and feedback is given to our parents. The teachers are primarily responsible for issues related to the education of our students. The first meeting should be done with our teachers by making an appointment. And if necessary, the relevant Deputy Principal and/or School Principal should be consulted.

Thoughts and suggestions about the general services of the school (service, food, etc.) are not expected to be made through the student. It is important that this communication must be notified in a written document to the relevant Deputy Principal.
