Our experienced Visual Arts staff supports and encourages our students to discover their abilities, try new mediums and methods, and expand their horizons. The Visual Arts studies are conducted in separate art studios that are available for each school unit. At Hisar School we aim to raise creative students who can take advantage of an interdisciplinary interaction when working in the field of art and are able to transform their ideas into original products. Upon considering our strong physical infrastructure, the original colors and patterns decorating our school’s walls, the series of exhibitions held in our Cultural Center, the national and international achievements and awards our students have won in the fields of art and design, we can say these are all the consequences of an entire process.

Hisar Series Group Exhibition

Our exhibition events, which we started 15 years ago to appreciate our students’ individual interests and performances, still continue on an annual basis at Preschool, Primary School, Middle School and High School levels.

In these exhibitions that comprise works of photography, lego, oil color, acrylic paint, graphic design, charcoal drawing, plaster relief and sculpture, students are provided with the opportunity to share and discuss their works with their friends and visitors.

At the school’s Art Gallery in our Cultural Center (KSM), we host a total of seven exhibitions throughout the year with the participation of students from different levels.

“Remains Of The Day” Exhibition

The exhibition consisting of student works produced in the courses of the visual arts department between 2019-2020 September-March continues at the art gallery of the Cultural Center.

“Between Black and White” Group Exhibition

The exhibition, attended by Ozan Ölmez, Çağla Köseoğulları, Bengü Karaduman, Doğu Özgün, Can İncekara, Can Akgümüş, Sadık Arı and Sevil Tunaboylu, was held between 19 February 2020 – 03 April 2020 at our school’s Cultural Center art gallery.

“Looking at the Landscape from Today” Group Exhibition

The exhibition, attended by Seçil Büyükkan, Tansu Köse, Fulya Çetin, İlhan Sayın, Ahmet Soydemir, Zeynep Beler and Fatih Dülger, was held between 2 December 2019 – 17 January 2020 at the art gallery of our school’s Cultural Center.

“Encounters” Exhibition

Hisar School Cultural Center celebrated its 10th year with the “Encounters’’ exhibition consisting of the work of the entire Hisar family. The exhibition consisting of parents, alumni, artists, students and employees was held at the art gallery of our school’s Cultural Center between 16 October and 15 November 2019.

2018-19

2017-18

  • Londra Regent’s University; Interior design and architecture contest “Gaps” 1st and 2nd rank,
  • Chamber of Marine Engineers; work of one of our students have placed among top 5 works in “Child and Ship” themed painting contest,
  • 2nd rank and Honorable Mention awards in the 10th Eyüboğlu Active Painting Contest,

2016-17

  • Our two students have found place in “Radiant Peace” themed painting contest in Florida

2015-16

  • 1st and 3rd rank in the 8th Eyüboğlu Active Painting Contest,
  • GENIUS Olympiad 2016 – The World’s championship, 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank, Honorable Mention Award in poster design; and 2nd rank in the world in short film contest.

2014-15

  • GENIUS Olympiad 2015 –2nd rank in the World’s championship and 4 years scholarship in poster design, 3rd rank in the world in illustration, admission and scholarship to SUNY Oswego State Art University,
  • 3rd rank in Marmara region at “Place Where I Live and My City” themed painting contest organized by Orange Blossom Arts Colony
  • Place in top 10 of category for 1st Graders at “The World from My Window” themed painting contest organized by TMMOB Chambers of Architects,
  • Honorable Mention award in “City in My Dream” themed painting contest organized by Istanbul Province Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation,
  • 3rd , 4th rank and Honorable Mention awards at international “Let’s Protect and Save the Frogs” themed painting contest organized by Annual Kids Art,
  • 38 works from 38 students from our school have been broadcasted as part of free painting contest on the website of Londra Saatchi Gallery,
  • 1 group and 2 individual works of our 6 students have been selected for “My Favorite Sports” themed world’s exhibition organized by ICAF.
